Barndominium Cost Secrets and everything on this site is educational. It is not legal, financial, engineering, lending, insurance or tax advice for any specific project. Building codes, lending rules, soil conditions and material prices vary by county and change over time; the dollar figures quoted are 2026 national ballparks and are illustrative, not quotes.
Always confirm requirements with your local authorities, and rely on licensed professionals — engineers, electricians, plumbers, lenders and inspectors — for the decisions that carry their stamp. No outcome, saving or result is promised or guaranteed. Decisions you make on your build are your own.
Names and case details
The names in the book are changed and some details are blended so that no family can be recognised from them. The dollar figures are not softened.
Purchases and delivery
The book is sold and delivered by Gumroad, which handles checkout, payment processing, receipts and download links. This site does not process or store payment details. For anything to do with an order — receipts, download problems, refunds — use the Gumroad receipt email for that purchase, which is the fastest route to a fix.

Privacy
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no tracking cookies, runs no advertising pixels, and collects no personal information from visitors. Standard server logs kept by the hosting provider (Cloudflare) may record request data such as IP address and user agent for security and reliability purposes.
If you follow a link to Gumroad, that purchase and any data you enter there are governed by Gumroad’s own terms and privacy policy.
Contact
Questions about an order go through your Gumroad receipt. Everything else can be sent through the product page.
